Instructional Coaching That Doesn’t Collapse Under Real School Conditions
Kinwise Coach brings the personalized, evidence-based coaching that transforms teaching practice to every teacher, not just the ones who happen to get time on a coach's calendar. It works from their actual classroom, fits their schedule, and is designed around professional dignity rather than evaluation.
Built from educator interviews, coaching, and instructional best practices.
The Coaching Experience, Step by Step
Step 1: Record
Teachers open Kinwise Coach and hit record before a lesson. Audio only, no video, no special equipment needed. When class is over, they stop and the audio is processed and prepared for coaching.
Step 2: Transcribe and Analyze
Kinwise Coach automatically converts the audio to text and identifies key moments from the lesson: areas of strength, potential growth opportunities, and patterns aligned to the popular frameworks.
Step 3: Coaching Conversation
This is the core of the experience. The AI coach opens with a reflection question. It's curious about the teacher's perspective before sharing its own observations. Together, they explore specific moments from the transcript, using quotes to anchor the conversation in evidence rather than generalities.
Step 4: Action Plan
The teacher chooses one focus area. The coach suggests a specific technique and creates a concrete action plan: what to try, when to try it, and what to notice. In the next session, the coach checks in on how it went, building continuity across coaching cycles.
Privacy architecture that earns teacher trust.
Kinwise Coach was designed with one foundational principle: coaching only works when teachers feel safe. Every technical and policy decision flows from that premise.
What we need to coach
Audio recordings of classroom instruction (teacher-initiated only)
Automated transcripts generated from those recordings
Coaching conversation logs
Action plans and practice notes created by the teacher
What we never do
We never capture video. Audio only.
We never use classroom recordings to train our AI models.
We never share recordings or transcripts with administrators without explicit teacher consent.
We never use data punitively or in evaluation contexts.
What district and school leaders see.
Kinwise Coach is built for teachers first, but it gives administrators meaningful visibility into school-wide professional development without requiring access to individual teachers' private coaching sessions.
-
Progress summaries that individual teachers choose to share
-
Individual recordings or transcripts without explicit teacher consent
Private coaching conversations or action plans
Any data that identifies individual teacher performance issues
-
Their action plan and progress summary with a principal or instructional coach
A coaching report showing techniques practiced
Join the spring pilot cohort.
Kinwise Coach is currently piloting with NC educators. We're inviting a small number of additional schools or districts with a preference for partners who want to actively shape the product, not just consume it.
What pilot partners get:
Platform access for 5–15 teachers from mid-April-June.
Dedicated onboarding and support from the Kinwise team
Direct input into product development. Your feedback shapes the roadmap
A detailed impact report at the end of the pilot
Priority pricing when Kinwise Coach moves to general availability
What we ask of pilot partners:
A designated point of contact at the school or district level
Commitment to 3–5 coaching sessions per participating teacher over the time period
Participation in a brief mid-pilot and end-of-pilot conversation with the Kinwise team
